About the Quartet

Absolute Zero Viola Quartet has been running (well, maybe slowly jogging) since 1995, playing many recitals in and around South Wales, with the odd visit to London, and is made up of players from the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. They are also the creators of the world's first viola quartet CD album.

Now, if you were thinking this is not what one would normally expect to see in a standard string quartet, then you’d be right. Viola quartets are very much rarer - funny, that.
